Iran Lifts Visa Rules for 28 Countries

To boost tourism, Iran has recently announced the removal of visa requirements for travelers from 33 countries.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Ezzatollah Zarghami, confirmed this decision during a government meeting on Wednesday December 13, 2023

February 4, 2023 Update:

The Deputy of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the visa-free entry to Iran for citizens of 28 countries starting February 4, 2023.

Travelers from these nations can visit Iran without a visa, requiring only a valid passport. The Cabinet of Ministers’ policy allows these visitors to enjoy a stay of up to 15 days every six months.
